Hemp's tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) monitoring is an additional condition for granting direct payments areas on hemp. The farmer is entitled to the single area payment, small farmers scheme payment and the voluntary coupled support for protein crops of hemp, if so, in accordance with Regulation No 809 / 2014 45. Article contains THC monitoring.
The farmer of the current year to 15 June of the State Plant Protection Service (hereinafter – VAAD) shall submit an application for inclusion in the area under hemp THC monitoring and of the current year to June 30 shall be carried out by the payment for areas in the monitoring of cannabis with THC.

The verification shall be carried out by a planned inspection VAAD officer informing farmers. Examination of the field is checked out the appropriate model of cannabis, which shall be sent to the Institute of Food Safety, Animal Health and Environment "BIOR" THC content. For the implementation of the examination on the holding, the farmer shall inform the VAAD on cannabis flowering.
